Our weekend started off with a bad storm on Friday, leaving us without power until Saturday morning! We were out looking for a desk for the home office on Friday, when the bottom of the sky decided to fall out. We got soaked!!! Only to come home to no power. We finally decided to head to Kyle's moms house at 9:30 and stayed there overnight. She didn't have TV so we were really "roughing" it. Thankfully we got power sometime Saturday morning!
One of my moms friends let us borrow her rainforest jumparoo for Boston. He loves it! I am so glad we didn't have to shell out more $$$ for something that he will only use a short time and will just take up space at the house. I feel sorry for the little man b/c he doesn't have any toys. But what kind of toys do you get a 4 month old? I guess the jumparoo will do for now.
Boston was a little party animal on Saturday night! We went to Mitch and Lindsey's house to hang out and he was Boston stayed up until midnight! I kept trying to get him to go to sleep but he wasn't having it! Afraid he would miss something i guess. Surprisingly he never got fussy either.
We tried a little cereal last night and you can tell by the photos he hated it! I may try again later, but at least I can say we did try it when we go to the doctor tomorrow. I made it according to the directions on the box and it was really runny. I don't think he swallowed any, he just spit it all out.
Once again this week Kyle will be going to NWA every day! This is the 3rd week in a row! I keep saying we need to just move there because I have been "single momming" it lately and I'm exhausted! Maybe he will get a break long enough to build up some business in LR soon. These next few weekends will be very busy. We are planning a trip to Houston the week of the 4th of July. I'm already dreading the 8 hour car ride...but I'm ready to get away for a while!

it is very normal for babies to spit food out the first many attempts at them eating. A bottle/breast is very different from a spoon. It took both my kids over a week of offering cereal/stage 1 foods 3 times a day to actually swallow any of it. It is hilarious to watch them learn the process of solids but terrible for their wardrobe!
BTW, Boston is such a camera ham! Very adorable!
