Constipation. B's daycare called me at work yesterday around 3:30 and said they could not get him to quit screaming and that I needed to come get him. Freaked me out!!! I got there and he was quiet but his eyes were so red from crying and he looked so sad! I felt so bad for him. After talking to his teacher I realized that he hadn't had a REALLY good poopy diaper in over a week! (Just another reason why I don't like him being in daycare so much, i feel like i don't know what is going on with my baby!) I thought he might have been constipated this weekend but his daycare sheet from Friday said he had a poopy diaper that morning. Apparently it wasn't much though. So we went home and i gave him a little apple juice. I wanted to take his temperature and have heard about the thermometer trick to get them to poop and it worked! I could tell he was in pain while trying to get it all out and i still don't think he got it all, but I could tell he feels better.
Sorry for the post about poop...Man the things you do and talk about when you become a parent!

Caroline has always suffered on and off from constipation, the thermometer does it everytime, she hates it, but I know she will be relieved once she poops. I hope Boston is feeling better today!!
poor little pumpkin! isn't it funny how we get as parents?? talking about poop or gas as if it isn't anything... gotta love being a mom :) Hope he feels better soon!
