First Fishing Trip

Uncle Randy has been dying to take B fishing.  So we loaded up and headed back to my hometown this past weekend to do that.  Cousin Josh and Jordan got to come and we haven't seen them in a while.
Boston with his Spiderman fishing pole
He didn't actually catch a fish. He was too impatient.  This is a fish he helped Josh reel in.
Once he got the hook out in the water, he would reel it right back in.  He gets his patience from his daddy :)
It was HOT and he lasted about 15-20 minutes before he got bored.
He then started throwing rocks into the pond.  I think he had more fun doing that!  He was scaring the fish away and I think Randy got frustrated.  I tried to warn him that his attention span is almost non existent these days, ha!
I'm glad we have a place to take him for "boy" things like that.  My hometown is out in the country and he can experience some of the same things I did growing up.  But I'm so thankful we don't live there now!

Easter 2012

 Blake's 1st Easter Bunny visit
The EB knew how much Boston loves lions and spiderman!
Love this photo!  Blakely already worn out before church
 My babies!
Best family photo we could get.  Its SO hard to get 4 people to all look and smile at the same time!
Boston's Easter egg hunt

We had a great Easter at church with all the family. We went out to eat and then back to our house to do an egg hunt for Boston.  This was one of 3 he had this year!  He loved opening the eggs to see what was inside!
Boston and I did dye Easter eggs but I guess I didn't take any pics this year :(

Blakely-8 months

Sorry for the long overdue post!  Our internet has been acting up and not been working on the laptop and I've been too lazy to get on the office computer.  So I will have to add her 8 month pic later.

Time is just flying by and she is growing like a weed!  She weighs around 15lbs and wears 6-9 month clothes.  We even moved up to a size 3 diaper!  They are still pretty big on her though.  She's not crawling or scooting yet, but acts like she wants to move around so badly!  I'm sure it wont be long!  No teeth yet either!
She is definitely a sleep fighter!  I usually have to rock her to sleep and she has been waking up a few times during the early night. Except for the past few nights she has slept all night!!!  I try to give her dinner around 5pm, then ready for bed and bottle by 7pm.  She has been sleeping until about 7:30am! If I get off schedule it really messes her up!  Its hard to have her down by 7, but that's what has worked best for her so far.  She has finally gotten more scheduled on her naps.  She will have a morning nap around 10 and another afternoon nap around 1-2.  If her morning nap is long, she sometimes doesn't take an afternoon nap but gets really fussy!  She loves bath time and I have a feeling she will love the kiddie pool this summer!  We broke out the sprinkler today and she wore a swimsuit for the first time.  So cute!
I've never considered myself a "girly" girl but I'm having so much fun dressing her up, painting her toenails and shopping for her.  I am addicted to bows and headbands!
She still loving all the solid foods except the green ones and we have given her some puffs this past week and she loves them!  We are also using a sippy cup during snack/dinner time.
She had a fever virus last week and we had to go to the doctor twice.  Her temp was between 101-103 for about 4 days!  She finally broke out into a rash after her fever broke.  Thankfully no one else in the house has gotten it.
She watches her brothers every move and wants to play with him so badly!  He is good with her most of the time, but does not like for her to have toys.  We are having issues with sharing :p
I can't believe I will have to start planning her 1st birthday soon!  I am loving this age right now, she is so happy and fun!!!
We love you baby girl!
