I am so thankful for my friend and college roomie Melissa!  She did a mini session with our family back in October and I love all the pics!  I hope she quits her day job soon because she is an awesome photographer! Here are a few of my favorites:

As for an update, we are FINALLY starting on our house right after Christmas! Its been a sore subject around here but I hope we can get started and see some progress before I lose my mind!  The kids are great. Just growing too fast and learning!  I cannot believe my baby boy will be 4 in February! 
With all the tragic events that have occurred lately, I find myself pausing more and taking in the precious moments. Family truly is the most important thing on this earth!

Pumkin Patch 2012

 Our playgroup went to the Pumpkin Patch a couple of weeks ago. The kids had a blast.

Blakely's 1 year photos

Once again my friend Melissa outdid herself with Blake pictures.  I'm so proud of these! She did such a wonderful job!

Blakely turns 1

 Blakely turned 1 on July 31st!!! This year has flown by!

 I'm amazed at how much she has changed!

Boston's Sunday school teacher made the cakes and cookies and she did awesome!  I had left over cake for a week! It was so good!

Since we were moving out the next weekend, we just had a small party for Blake and family/friends.

 My sweet girl!  I love her so much my heart wants to explode on a daily basis :)

Blakely started walking right after her birthday!  Its the cutest thing to see her walk because she is so tiny!  She was 16lbs at her 1 year check up so we started some weight gainer.  She LOVES to eat though and will eat anything and everything!  I can already tell a HUGE difference in the last couple of months.  We go Friday for her 15 month check up and I'm anxious to see how much she has grown! 

She is in 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.  She was off the bottle with no problems at 1 year and has taken whole milk well.  She still loves her Paci and I'm not ready to take it from her yet.  She is FINALLY getting her 1st tooth at 15 months old!  I was getting so worried, but now I'm going to miss her gummy smile :(

Blakely you have made our family complete.  You are what I never knew I needed, but God knew exactly and I'm so grateful to Him for the blessing of you and being your mother!

Playing Catch up...

Its been crazy in the Burton house for the past few weeks!  Blakely turned ONE and took her first steps! We sold our house and moved into a rent house temporarily until we build a new home.  We aren't unpacking everything since we plan on being here only a few months.  So, I have no idea where anything is and its driving me crazy!  I hope to catch up on posts soon.  I feel so far behind!!!

The kids started school today! Woohoo! They only go 2 days a week, but maybe I can get a few things done while they are there and hope to start painting again!
