What we've been up to...

Spending lots of time outside!  The weather here has been awesome the past few days!

I got bangs cut...Wanted something different without chopping my hair off.  The jury is still out on how I like them.  Boston told me to "go fix my hair" " I dont like it" when I got home, ha!
Kyle and I got away for the night to watch Arkansas vs Florida.  they whooped us!  He was happy!
It was good to get a short break.

Sister now sits up all the time, so we have tried out the big tub with big brother.  She loves it!
This is just a funny pic.  For some reason, B has to have a new pair of underwear every time he goes to the bathroom!  This was just one afternoon!

 Sweet baby feet!
We also visited aunt Amanda last weekend.  Blake had a blast, as did Boston with Georgia!
My friend Melissa took Blake's 6 month photos last week!  I have seen a couple and they are great!  Can't wait to see the rest and I will share with you!

Boston is 3!

This child is obsessed with everything "Cars"
His birthday was Friday the 10th and we had family over to celebrate.
 He loves the icing!
Almost every gift was Cars related!  Hope he likes Cars for a long time!

This is Boston's BFF Jordyn.  He was in his class at MDO.  Unfortunately Jordyn's last day was Thursday, he is having to go to a full time daycare now.  Boston is going to be broken hearted!  These two love each other so much and its so sweet!  I was so thankful that he came to his birthday party.  His mom and I exchanged numbers and I hope we can get them together sometime.  Boston literally talks about him everyday!  Jordyn does the same.  My heart hurts for my little man that he won't have his friend at school anymore :(

These two are only 2 weeks apart in age!  Its crazy how much smaller Blake is than Peyton!  I think they are going to be future boyfriend and girlfriend :)
I think every picture I got was of B's back.  He was just too busy!
We had his party at the local gymnastics place.  We try to go every Friday morning for open play time and Boston loves it!  It was a great place to have a party, we had the whole place to ourselves and the kids were worn out!

 So sweet!

He got lots of loot and we had a great turnout!  He was so excited and had so much fun!

Its so hard to believe he is 3 years old!  He is technically still a toddler, but it seems to me that he is already a little boy.  But he lets me know he's a BIG BOY! He talks so much and its crazy that we carry on normal conversation all the time.  He loves his MDO but I'm not sure he will so much when he realizes Jordyn is no longer there.  He is so active and keeps me on my toes for sure!  He makes me laugh every single day!
We go tomorrow for his 3 year check up.  I do know that he weighs 32lbs but I'm not sure how tall he is. He has really grown lately.  He wears mostly 3T clothes but is starting to wear 4T shirts and size 8 shoes.  He is completely potty trained, even during nap time!  We still have him in pullups at night, but he has been dry every morning for the last week!  I think when we run out of them we wont be getting any more.  That is a huge accomplishment!  Sometimes I think it was much easier when he was still in diapers though.  He still has to disrobe from the waist down when going to the bathroom.  This is NOT FUN in public bathrooms!  Especially when I have both kids!
He loves to learn, sing, read books, dance and watch movies.  His favorite song is "I'm Sexy and I Know It".  It cracks me up!  I know this will get us in trouble! His favorite movie of course is Cars 2 right now.  He loves Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, Dinosaurs and all of the typical boy stuff.  His latest obsession is Mega Blocks.  He has played with them so much lately and he is really good at building things with them!
He still isn't a great eater, but its getting better.  He has slacked off a bunch on his milk intake and I think that is helping.  Now we just have to get him eating meals instead of snacking all the time.  I'm not too concerned since he is growing so well.  We will just continue to work on it.
He still takes one nap a day that ranges from 1-2 hours.  His bedtime routine starts at 8-8:30 which consists of putting on jammies, taking vitamins, and brushing teeth.  He then gets to pick 2 books to read and I lay down with him until he falls asleep.  I'm going to start doing a bible story each night in addition to his picks and we will say bedtime prayers.  We do this sometimes but it hasn't been consistent.
He is still a momma's boy, but certainly misses his daddy since he has been gone so much lately.
He continues to blow my mind every day with his knowledge.  I am so lucky to be his mom and so thankful to God that he gave him to me!  I cannot imagine life without him and hope I never have to!
We love you Boston!

"I'll love you forever
I'll like you for always
As long as I'm living
My baby you'll be."

Sick, Sick, Sick..RSV

This was Boston last Monday on our way to the doctor.  This is the worst I think i've seen him look when being sick.  He was diagnosed with bronchitis.  His MDO teacher said all the kids have been sick in his class.  Thankfully with some medicine he was back to normal in a couple of days!
You wouldn't know it from this picture but she had a 101 fever.  This was last Thursday before we took her to the doctor.  She had a horrible cough and started running fever on Wednesday.  I had to take both kids by myself to the doctor!  I was stuck in that itty bitty exam room with both sick kids for over an hour.  I thought I was going to lose my mind!  Blake was diagnosed with RSV and an ear infection! She isn't even in daycare!  The Dr said she probably got it from Boston. While at the Dr they checked her pulseox levels and gave her a breathing treatment.  We got some antibiotics for the ear infection and an inhaler for her RSV and was told to watch her breathing and fever closely for the next few days.   Poor thing ran a fever of 101-102 from Wednesday to Sunday!  Saturday morning we woke up and she was weezing and had a high fever.  Luckily our dr office is open on Saturday mornings so we took her in.  They checked her pulseox levels again which was low and gave another breathing treatment.
This picture breaks my heart!  She felt so bad!
The dr told us again to watch her breathing closely and if it got above 50-60 breaths per minute to take her to the hospital.  We were sent home with a nebulizer to do breathing treatments every 4 hours because the inhaler wasn't helping at all.

Look how cute it is

Sick baby girl

She was finally fever free on Sunday night and has been ever since. She hasn't eaten well in about a week so I'm hoping she's getting her appetite back.  She threw up a few times after eating from coughing so much :(

I only had to give her one breathing treatment today and she seems much better! She was all smiles :)
I am so thankful that we didn't have to put her in the hospital! It is such a helpless feeling when your baby is sick!
So the sickness was passed from Boston to Blake and now I have it and Kyle is gone all week, again, meh.  We all know mamas don't get sick days!
I feel like I have dropped the ball on Boston's birthday! He will be 3 on Friday!  I ordered his gifts this weekend and I am hoping they will get here by then.  His party is Saturday and I have so many things to do. I haven't been out of the house for a week except for going to Dr appointments. I feel like we have been quarantined!  I am so ready to get back to our routine, back to the gym and have some sort of normalcy again.
Oh, and this past week has completely knocked us out of our bedtime routine!  Both kids have been in our room for the most part. She is back in the pack and play (so we can observe her breathing) and Boston has started out in our bed because Kyle has been gone so much.
Ahhh!
