Trick or Treat!

I do believe Halloween is Boston's favorite "holiday".  This kid loves candy so much!

He got to wear his costume to school today and they went trick or treating downtown, then had a Halloween party.  We came home and he painted the pumpkin he got at school then we went Trick or Treating with some neighbors!

It was so much fun this year!  The look on his face and the whole experience was priceless!  We do need to work on stranger danger though.  He would just walk into some of our neighbors houses!

Our neighborhood is crazy busy on Halloween night.  Someone seriously brought a flat bed trailer full of kids!

Halloween Party

Our neighbors had a Halloween party tonight.  I stressed for days about what costume to wear because EVERYTHING in the stores was so short and inappropriate for a family costume party.  Especially having just had a baby!  So Kyle and I went as Cleopatra and Marc Antony.  I really think Boston had fun and he had LOTS of candy! They had a pinata and some games for the kids.  

He also gets to wear his Spidey costume to school tomorrow for a Halloween party, then trick or treating tomorrow night!

First Sick Visit

I had to take Blake to the Dr on Monday for her first sick visit.  We made it 12 weeks though!

She has had a HORRIBLE cough since Friday and was running fever.  They did a WBC and everything looked normal so he diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection and we just have to wait it out.  So thankful it wasn't anything more serious!  Boston has been coughing for almost 2 months!  I guess its allergies, but the medicine isn't seeming to help at all.  

Blake now weighs a whopping 9.1lbs and is 22" long!  She grew 2 whole inches in a month!  It's crazy because I was 9.9lbs when I was born and she is 3 months old! ha!

State Fair

I survived the State Fair with two kiddos, thanks to my mom!

We went today and Boston had so much fun!  It was really cold today and the wind was so gusty!  

Boston couldn't ride many rides as you had to be above 36".  Well he is right at 36" and they still wouldn't let him ride!  He did get a few in and got to see the animals!  I also got dooped by a carni into paying $30 for a stuffed angry bird! Ugh, I'm so dumb sometimes!

Blake slept the entire time!  She has actually slept a whole lot today.  I hope she sleeps tonight!  This mama is tired!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

 We took our annual family trip to the pumpkin patch today!  I was SO disappointed that the corn dog/funnel cake stand was closed :(

 B had a good time looking at the animals and playing on the playground.

 We took the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch where he and daddy picked their pumpkins.

Blake's Dedication

 Last Sunday we stood as a family before our church and dedicated Blake back to the Lord

 It was a special time. Last year when we dedicated Boston, we told the family we were expecting baby #2!

 We vow as parents to bring up our children in a Godly home, and teach them all about God.

 It's quite a responsibility, but with guidance from Him and lots of prayer I trust we can do it!
