12 weeks!

I am 12 weeks pregnant today! It seems to be going by fast! I am starting to feel much better, but I am coming down with a sinus infection or something, ugh!
My next appt is on 7th. I can't wait to hear the heartbeat. I think I'm going to have to get a fetal doppler :)
I haven't had any weight gain yet, but i can tell my body is definitely changing. My stomach is pooching a bit and my ribcage seems to be expanding already! I haven't had much of an appetite up until now.
I'm just ready for the energy to kick back in! I'm so thankful that this pregnancy has been uneventful so far. That has to be good right?!?

First Black Eye

Yesterday was beautiful so we were itching to get outside.  We went down to the neighbors house to play on their big swing/slide.  B just loves it!  I really want to get him one for our yard, but we aren't sure how long we will be in this house.  It seems as if we are already outgrowing it!

Anyways, he hit himself in the eye with one of the swing seats.  I saw it happen and he didn't even cry!  I immediately went over to him and his eye was already puffy and blue.  It didn't phase him a bit!

 It is supposed to be nice here for the next couple of days.  We sure do have spring fever!

Fun Factory and a Play Date

A friend told me about this place in our town called Fun Factory. I had no idea it was here, it looks pretty new.  Anyways, B and I went to check it out yesterday and I think it will be the perfect place for his birthday party!

Its basically like a Jump Zone.  All kinds of inflatables and 3 party rooms.  Some of the inflatables are a bit too big for Boston but a lot of the kiddos that will be at his party are a little older.  I feel like a weight has been lifted! I have been stressing about having his party at our house for weeks!!!  I have already ordered a few things for his party that i may have to send back, but oh well.  I still plan on doing a Nemo themed party as much as possible.

After naptime we headed over to Aunt Amanda and Georgias for a play date.  They look so cute sitting at the table together doing crafts.  

I think Boston managed to bring out every animal Georgie has and had fun playing with Woody and Buzz.

Georgia was feeling puny so I hope she feels better today!  We had fun!

Today it is snowing, again!  Ugh I'm so ready for spring time!

The Little Gym

Saturday we went to Miss Stella's 2nd birthday party at the Little Gym.  B loved that place!

I so wish there was an indoor play area like that in our town.  I would love to put him in one of the weekly structured classes. We have to drive at least 30 minutes to do anything fun!

The attempt at making our first snowman...FAIL.  He did not like the snow but threw a fit when we came inside.  He wanted me to carry him around outside and he's just too heavy!  He definitely didn't like walking in it!

Daddy is in Florida while we are stuck at home!  Boo!  He is supposed to be home Wednesday if the flights come through.  I dont know how long we will be snowed in, it is supposed to re-freeze tonight!

So....the reason I have been SO exhausted is that we are expecting baby B #2!!! After trying for awhile it finally happened! I threw in a few hints in the last couple of posts to see if anyone would catch on :)

I will be 9 weeks tomorrow.  We went to the Dr today and everything measured out perfect and we saw the heartbeat!  I am due August 13th. So Boston and Baby B will be almost exactly 2.5 years apart!  I know Boston will be such a great big brother!!

I may go insane but it will be worth it!  I know we will have our hands full!!!
I really don't remember being this tired last time.  I literally feel like poo all the time!  No motivation to do anything.  Nausea comes and goes but no puking thank goodness!

We are so incredibly blessed and thankful to God for this little miracle!  I can't help but worry about something bad happening.  I just have to trust the He will take care of us!

Hello 2011!

Hello 2011, Nice to meet you.

No resolutions for this mama this year.  I never keep them so why bother?  There are plenty of things I expect from myself which I have thus far FAILED at since becoming  a SAHM.  One of these is cooking/baking.  Over the holidays I tried to be festive and all "Suzy Homemaker" and make Christmas cookies and brownies.... FAIL

I have always been able to bake things out of a box, not sure what went wrong but they were both horrible!

I haven't followed through on my cooking aspirations either.  Not one bit.  I'm still making things out of a box/bag IF i even cook...FAIL

When becoming a SAHM, I planned on a curriculum of sorts to start teaching B some preschool basics....another FAIL.  He is on two MDO waiting lists in our town, but it will likely be August before he will get in...RIDICULOUS.  I'm really sad that he doesn't have the social interaction with kids his age anymore.

All I have wanted to do for the past few weeks is sit on my couch in my PJ's.  I hate to admit that I have let B watch too much TV and eat too much junk. I have just been too exhausted to do anything about it.  There is a reason behind all of this which I will post about tomorrow.  

I have big plans.  Once I get my energy back, I will continue with my aspirations of being a better mom, wife, friend, artist, etc.  So stay tuned...
