2 Months!

Boston at around 2 months (he was a chunk!)

We had our 2 month check up on Wednesday and she checked out just perfect!  She is a whopping 8lbs 3oz and 20 1/4" long.  That is still so small, but she is growing on the curve like she should. She is getting some chubby cheeks and thighs though. I looked back at Bostons 2 months stats and he was 11lbs and 23 3/4" long!  He was a chunk!!!  I think she looks more like he did at around a month old (when he was still smaller).

As you can see Blake is smiling now and "cooing" especially when you talk to her.  She is getting into more of a "schedule" eating every 4 hours and staying awake a lot more.  She has even slept through the night a couple of times!  She only gets up now around 3:30 to eat which is great!  She always goes right back to sleep without problem.  She is a great baby and rarely ever fussy unless she loses her paci!

She is still wearing newborn clothes for the most part and some 0-3 month stuff.  She is also in Newborn diapers.  She is my little butter bean :)  So far she has been momma's little girl and I love it!

Halloween door

It isn't much, but i usually do a more "fall" type decor.  But I thought the Halloween would be fun for Boston.  I am on the lookout for more stuff as it goes on sale :)  Maybe I will put out my fall stuff right after Halloween and have it up until Thanksgiving.  We still need to go to the pumpkin patch!

The wreath was really fun to make.  There are so many cute ideas on Pinterest and I'm totally addicted to that website! I just wish I had the time to do all of the projects!

Now to figure out what the kids will be for Halloween...Boston says he wants to be a RED monster. Hmph, not sure why, but all I can find are blue monster costumes so thats probably what it will be.
I want to find some cute little wings for Blake so she can be an angel, fairy or butterfly :)

Potty Trained!

I just wanted to post that our little man is potty trained!!!  For the most part anyway.  We still use pullups at nap and night time, just because he still doesn't wake up dry and I'm just not ready to deal with the accidents and washing sheets at night, etc when Blake still gets up 1-2 times a night.  I'm so proud of him!
I think it will help a lot if we can wean him off of some of his milk drinking.  I swear this child is a MILK A HOLIC! We go through a gallon about every 2-3 days.  I used to use strictly organic milk but we just can't afford it with as much as he drinks!
I'm so ready to be done with pullups!  But we are taking it one step at a time.

First Strike

Our church has started a play group about every 2 weeks.  Last Friday we met at the bowling alley.  Boston LOVED it!  We had an issue with taking turns, but its something to work on :)  He got a strike early on and was so excited!
I'm so excited about this play group.  It is something that i have been praying for for awhile.  I really want Boston to have kids around his age to play with that live in our town and I want to meet other SAHM's too!
Our next outing will be the Fire Station!

Baby Tour 2011

A bunch of my close girlfriends got together on Saturday and my how times have changed.  We jokingly called it the Baby Tour 2011 because 4 of us have had babies this year.  Between the 6 of us we have 7 kiddos all under the age of 4.  Our plan was to meet somewhere for lunch but then decided that may be disasterous considering we had 4 new babies and 3 toddlers.  So we all gathered at Jeanettes house for a play date.  It was exhausting and hilarious!
On the way there I felt like a bus driver.  B and G were in the 3rd row seat and Blake was in the 2nd row.
B was in heaven all day! He loves some Georgia!
Our attempt at getting a pic of the kids

It was so much fun!

BB's Closet

I just recently started a page on Facebook called BB's closet.  I plan on selling the name brand clothing that the kiddos have outgrown as well as other miscellaneous items.  Please go "like" BB's closet, check it out and share with your friends!  Especially those with new baby boys or who are expecting baby boys.  I will eventually sell some of Blakeky's things and home decor items too.  Most items that aren't sold within a month will be consigned.  Contact me with any questions!

Potty Training Update

I just wanted to post this today so I wouldn't forget.  I sent Boston to school in big boy underwear today!
I also packed plenty of pants and pullups just in case. My fingers are crossed!
He has done so good since he came home from school last Thursday and has been practically accident free with the exception of naptime and bedtime, which he still wears pullups.  We had a very busy weekend so i have been pleasantly surprised!  I'm so proud and hoping we dont go back!  I plan on keeping him in pullups at nap and bedtime until he's dry more often when he wakes up.
It's been a long 6 months of potty training!

6 weeks old and updates

Whats Up???
This picture cracks me up because it looks like she is waving :)

We are still here, just super busy!  Once things settle down (if they ever) I want to be on more of a schedule with my days and the kids.  I'm hoping it will help them, because I know routine is important to kids.  I'm also hoping it helps get this house somewhat organized.  I feel so overwhelmed most of the time!  I have looked into the FLYLADY method of doing things and its a bit overwhelming, but maybe I can adjust it to fit our lifestyle.   Its hard to get on any kind of schedule because we never know if Kyle will be home at night or not. He has been gone ALOT lately, so my meal planning idea is not really feasible right now.

Papa and LeLe got B his first bicycle with training wheels!  Its hard to believe he is big enough for this.  He needs some practice though.

Blakely is growing like a weed!  Its hard to believe she just turned 6 weeks old!
She is such a good baby and still sleeps ALOT!
LOVE this gown her Aunt Amanda got her from SheSheMade!  I think she looks so good in that color and it happens to be my favorite :)

Look at this boys poor hair!
A hair cut is planned for tomorrow after play goup, thank goodness!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
