My baby boy,
You are four months old today!!! You have grown so much in the last couple of months! We have your four month check up next week and I am anxious to see how much you have grown. You are soooo long! We weighed you this morning at home and you are 15lbs! You are wearing 3-6 month size clothing but mostly 6 month. You have discovered your hands and are constantly putting them in your mouth and drooling everywhere. You still love watching TV and also love people watching. Thankfully you have been so good out in public. You are such a sweet, happy baby and I am so thankful for that. You are definitely a momma's boy and have me wrapped around your little finger already! You have started talking/babbling a whole lot lately and even squealing and laughing really loudly. Everyone comments about your beautiful big smile and it just melts my heart when you show it!

We still haven't started you on solids although your Dr. recommended we try some cereal before your next visit. I'm a little hesitant to do so at this point. I am really thinking about waiting until about 5 months to introduce solids, but I will talk to her about this next week. You definitely aren't lacking in nutrition by how fast you are growing. I am contemplating skipping the cereal and going straight to veggies or fruit.
You are still sleeping next to us in the pack and play. We can't seem to "cut the chord" and transition you to your room. It is all the way across the house and I want you as close as possible! We have a video monitor and I suppose we will try to move you to the crib in the next month or so. I know the longer we wait, the harder it will be. Lately you have been sleeping from about 10pm-4am; feeding, then going back to sleep until I get you ready for school at 6:30. You are taking 8oz bottles every 4 hours and usually nap at 11, 2, and around 8pm. You always sleep in the car as well.
You have filled that empty place in my heart that I thought would never be filled. We love you more than you can ever imagine. You are the love of our lives!
