Fathers Day Weekend

This is one of the gifts we got Kyle for Fathers Day. I had it framed for his office. We also got him a custom Boston Red Sox jersey with "Dad" on the back.
We had a great Fathers Day weekend! Thank you Kyle for being such a wonderful father and husband and working so hard to provide for us! We love you very much!!!


It was a busy weekend for the Burton household and it will continue to be that way for a while. Kyle is in a golf tournament in Hot Springs Thursday-Sunday; Boston and I will head out there on Friday afternoon to stay the weekend. I'm already dreading packing up the car! Then we leave EARLY next Wednesday morning for Houston. We will drive to Galveston and stay one night, then back up to Houston to stay until the 5th. We are going to see Kyle's mom, but I guess you could also call it our "mini" vacation.


I stayed home with Boston yesterday and I must say it makes me miss him even more today, if that is possible. I got a lot of much needed housework done and some quality time in with my little man. I almost cried when i left him at daycare this morning! He has become very clingy to me lately which has its pros and cons I guess. He has also been fighting sleep like no other! I hope to transition him to the crib after we get all of this traveling out of the way.
