To Boston (update)
Boston,
It's been a while since i have written you a letter or done an update on what you have been up to.
So here goes:
You weigh a solid 30-31lbs. I mean solid!
You are in 3T shirts and some 3T shorts, but mainly 2T because of your shorter legs :)
I cannot get you to wear any other shoes but Crocs! I dont know what we will do when it gets cooler.
We are still working on potty training. We have our good days and bad days. You do really well when we stay at home and you are bottomless all day, but the minute I put big boy undies on you, you usually wet them. Otherwise you are in pullups during the day and diapers at night. I know you get really busy and just forget to go potty. Ive given up on the idea of having you trained by the time Blake gets here!
You talk ALOT! Especially since we took the paci away. Since that has happened your sleeping pattern hasn't been quite the same. You are a very light sleeper and tend to wake up in the middle of the night and come to bed with us. I'm also lucky if I get an 1.5 nap out of you per day.
You are such a ham! You love to dance and sing. You are all about Cars and books. And you still LOVE your cartoons! You also still love water, whether its bath, shower, pool or sprinkler.
It is a struggle every day to get you to eat much of anything! You still LOVE your milk and have at least 4 big sippy cups of it a day if not more.
You are such a blessing to our lives and we couldn't imagine life without you! You keep me on my toes and I wouldn't have it any other way! I know you will be such a great big brother to Blakely. We talk about her a lot with you but still dont think you realize how things are about to change. No matter what you will always be my baby boy. I'm so thankful that you are growing and healthy, but at the same time I'm sad because you aren't a "baby" anymore. You are the love of my life!
I don't want you to ever think that you weren't enough for mommy and daddy, feel neglected, or to resent your baby sister. I pray that you two will be the best of friends!
I feel as of lately that I haven't spent the quality time with you that I wanted before Blake arrives. You have spent a lot of time with the grandparents (which you love) but I can't help but feel guilty. I have been so busy with work, painting and preparing for things that I am just exhausted. I hope one day you will understand.
Boston, you are my heart and I love you more than you will ever know!
Love
Momma

So sweet! Boston is such an adorable little boy!
p.s.
SheSheSweetie on twitter was going to email you about a gown that she had made extra that says Blakely on it. It's SO adorable! I sent her your blog since I knew that you were having a girl with that name!
