38 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 38 weeks (the size of a watermelon, ha!  19-22 in and 6.5lbs)

Total Weight Gain:18lbs as of Dr appt.
No weight gain again week, yay!  But she is still growing, my stomach can't possibly stretch anymore!

Maternity Clothes: yes

Gender: GIRL-BLAKELY GRAY BURTON

Movement: Slowed down A LOT!

Sleep: not well, and i'm so exhausted

What I miss: breathing, Margaritas on a patio, a glass of wine with the girls, bending over comfortably

Cravings: none

Highlights of the week: Getting her door wreath and coming home outfit (see pics below)

I'm still only at 2cm but 75% effaced, so thats a little progress.  Baby girl is playing games with me!  I've been having contractions, especially last night every 10 minutes for 2 hours, then they stopped! Its so frustrating, I'm on pins and needles.  We are about 40 minutes from the hospital and i would hate to go in and be sent home so I am trying to wait until I'm absolutely sure.  However, once I got to the hospital with Boston everything seemed to progress really quick.

I have another appt on Monday for a check, so praying for progress.  My Dr and Kyle will both be out of town next week so we'll see what happens.  Otherwise she will be here on Monday the 8th!

It's supposed to be over 100 degrees here all next week and I'm already miserable.

This is the wreath I had made for Blakes door.  I could have made it myself, but I have too much on my plate and it was well worth it.  By the time I buy all the materials and spend the time making it, it is worth the extra money.  I haven't seen the coral colored mesh anywhere locally but they had some so I took advantage!

 I may end up adding a B to the middle or something

We also received her coming home outfit yesterday!  I had is custom made.  Kyle insisted on something Florida Gator, but we compromised with just something orange and blue.  The tutu part actually goes in the back.  I intended the tutu part to be just blue fabric ruffles, but oh well. I guess there was some miscommunication. I'm afraid that material will be too scratchy. The bottoms are a bit big so she may not can wear them anyway.  It will be fine for pics though.  

Now she just needs some razorback attire to balance it out ;)
