Blake's Nursery-work in progress...

Kyle and his dad finally got the chandelier installed this weekend! We also got a small bookcase.  Now I'm just searching for a small off white rocking chair, lamp, and possibly a round rug...

 the dark furniture is really throwing off my whole intended "look" but oh well.

 still figuring out what i want to do above the crib.  i have a couple of ideas...

the rocker was mine when i was little.  i painted it an off white, but it still needs a bit more work.  debating on whether to add more color or just ribbons, etc.

my favorite thing so far is the mirror! I got it at garden ridge and it was originally a silver color.  I spray painted it dover white and added some antique white to it with a brush, then a coat of gloss. I will add a tall lamp as soon as find one.

I'm a little obsessed with the funky vintage looking wall frames.  I have ordered a few more to go above the bookcase and rocker, but they may end up over the crib.  I will eventually paint a canvas as well.

The room is definitely turning out way more "girly" than I planned.  I'm such a simple, clean lined person but I am going for a modern vintage look so we'll see.

I have her clothes and bottles washed.  Now to clean the car seat and get the pack and play out of the attic for cleaning.  I can't believe it's so close!
