9 month check up

Boston did great at his 9 month check up yesterday, however we are being referred to an ENT b/c his ears are still infected!  She gave us another round of antibiotics (his 4th in a little over 2 months!) to help until we can get in to see the ENT.  It looks like he will be getting tubes.  I know it is a common procedure and lasts only 15 minutes but he will have to be put to sleep which scares me to death especially because he is so young!  It's a good thing my husband knows all of the ENT Dr's in the area and hopefully we'll be taken care of.

I have thought about possibly taking him to see a chiropractor because I have read and heard that it can really help ear infections and other ailments (somehow) and possible delay the need for tubes.  I know some people disagree with chiropractic care, but I happen to believe in it and would like to try it.  My husband on the other hand, thinks he is too young to see a chiropractor.  I will keep you updated on what we decide.

He got his 2nd round of the flu shot and we hesitantly got him the H1N1 shot.  Our Dr really recommended it and gave it to her 3 kids as well.  She said it was especially important b/c he is in daycare (ugh!) We were both on the fence about the H1N1 shot but in the end we went with the Dr's advice.
