New Schedule

I'm so excited! Starting next week I have a new work schedule!!! I can't express how much this news has helped my attitude about work. I now will work 3.5 days a week! (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and half day on Friday) I am also still considered full time at my office so i get to keep what benefits i have. This new schedule will affect my paycheck and we will continue to pay for full-time daycare until we can get him into part time daycare somewhere. Which by the way is very hard to come by. He is on two waiting lists that are over a year wait! Anyways, we will have to be more careful with our spending but it is more than worth it!
Spending an average of 3-4 hours a day with my little man just isn't going to cut it! I honestly feel like someone else is raising my baby and watching him grow up. Now Wednesdays can be "our day" and maybe I won't feel as guilty for cleaning house, working on my paintings or wanting to do things on the weekends. I have felt like I needed to spend every moment I can with Boston since i don't get so see him that much. Don't get me wrong, I still feel that way but I am hoping that this extra day will help my guilt. I also feel that i have become less of a friend and wife because I am so busy. I am hoping that this will help. Maybe I can eventually even go part-time at work or (*gasp*) become a SAHM!
