Burton's Blessings

We had a great weekend yet again.  The weather here was PERFECT! I am so ready for fall weather and new fall clothes :)  Something must be wrong with me b/c I went shopping this weekend and didn't buy a thing! Not even for Boston!!!  I have gotten to where I talk myself out of everything. I guess i am just trying to be frugal but we are both in major need of some clothes! 

Connie made it home safely on Friday. Nanny, Pawpaw, Boston and I were waiting on her when she got home.  She looks great and seems to be feeling great too!  I know coming home is helping tremendously! 

We had a great church service yesterday and we met a man from our small church who is leaving today for Omaha to get a stem cell transplant.  Kyle told him about his mom and her story and i hope and believe it was encouraging for him.  I could tell he and his wife were scared of the unknown but I believe Kyle gave them some encouragement that everything will be ok.  We will be praying for them and their journey.
