Trip to NWA and a Birthday

This Saturday was Kyle's 31st birthday and he played in a golf tournament in NWA (Northwest AR) with Dr. B.  So Boston and I took a weekend trip so we could be with him on his bday.  We stayed in Rogers and I absolutely LOVE that area!  Everything is so new and clean. Lots of young families too!  I would love to move there and it would be beneficial if we did considering Kyle spends 75% of his time in NWA, but it doesn't look like moving there will ever happen.  Oh well, I have gotten the hang of "single-momming" it while he is gone.

Saturday while Kyle golfed, B and I went to Chic Fil A to eat breakfast. It was his first time to play in the play-area (shame on me, I know).  He loved it!

We went shopping and played around that morning.

I made my first Christmas decor purchase this season (i'm obsessed!)  And got B some fall clothes.

We got to meet up with one of my best friends from high school, Kristen.  She and her family live in Bentonville and they have two boys (Ty and Trevor).  We went to their house and played awhile.

It took Boston a while to warm up to Kristen.  He has gotten that way lately with people he doesn't know, he gets really shy (he definitely gets that from me :))

I wish we could get together more often!

Then we met Daddy back at the hotel to watch the Florida game for his birthday.  Sadly they lost to Alabama. Kyle was not happy!

But B and I got to spend some quality time together and we had a great time!
