It is incredibly hard to get a good pic of her!  She is constantly moving. This is the best I could do

I cannot believe I am planning your 1st birthday party!  I'm finding it very difficult to make any kind of plans with our house for sale.  We have unexpected showings all the time and I wonder if we will even still be here for your party.  We dont have an offer yet, but Ive learned to expect the unexpected.  So for now I am planning a small party with family.  

You are so close to walking!  You cruise around all of the furniture.  Once you start walking I think you will be hard to stop!  You are into way more than your brother was at this age!  I think you are just trying to keep up with him now!

We had a big growth spurt lately.  You are now 16.8lbs and can finally wear a few 12 month things.  You are mostly wearing 9 month or 6-12 month.  Still in a size 3 diaper.  You LOVE all food!  I havent really found anything that you dont like except peas and green beans.  You are going to be our good eater :)  You prefer to feed yourself now too.  I think its time we start you on whole milk, you have already had some of bubbas and I'm so ready to be done with formula!  You eat 3 solid meals a day with a snack.  You usually have 3-4 bottles too. 
We got way off of your bedtime schedule last week at VBS but we are slowing getting back to normal.  You go to sleep around 7-7:30 and wake up around 7:30 am.  You only have one nap a day around 11-11:30 and sleep a couple of hours. 

You still love bathtime and the pool.

You have become REALLY attached to me.  Whenever I'm in the room you want me to hold you.  I love it, but I have to sneak out if I leave you at church or school or you will cry. :(

I found some of my baby pictures yesterday and you look just like I did!  Its crazy!

I'm trying to soak up every minute of you being a baby because its going by so incredibly fast!  I already miss the newborn Blake! Your smile lights up my life and I couldn't live without you sweet baby girl!

Blakely-10 months!

Lots to update on Miss Blakely!

I think we have hit a growth spurt.  I can tell a huge difference in her over the last month.  She is around 16lbs now and is loving her food!  We are still on baby food, but she has also tried a few pieces of fruit, saltine crackers and cheese slices and has loved them all.  I think she will be our big eater.  Boston still doesn't eat much at all!

She is a champ at crawling!  However its not a normal crawl, she tucks one of her legs in, but shes getting faster!  She is also pulling up on everything.  She wants to walk so bad!

We are still in size 3 diapers and wearing 9 month and 6-12 month clothes.  Her little personality is starting to come out.  She can get a little attitude when you take something away from her or when Boston doesn't let her have a toy.  She is learning what "No" means because she is constantly trying to get in the dogs food or water, touching the electrical outlets, or pulling on cords.  She is into everything!  We've had plenty of falls and knock downs since she has become so mobile.  She will be a tough cookie :)

She has been very attached to me lately and I definitely don't mind :)

Sometimes when I leave the room she whines because she thinks I'm leaving.  Her first day at MDO is Tuesday so we'll see how that goes.  I think it will be good for her to have social interaction with others her age.

STILL NO TEETH!  I keep thinking they will pop up but still none yet! 

Her favorite thing right now is eating and being around her "bubba".  She says "mama","bubba", Bye bye, among other baby talk.  She is sleeping through the night for the most part and still loves her paci!

She is my little sidekick and definitely everything I never knew I needed.  I love her and her "bubba" sooo much! I cannot believe I'm about to start planning her first birthday!  Its so bittersweet!

Boston's Last Day of school

Boston's last day of school (MDO) was last Thursday! He and Blake will be going to the summer session one day a week.

They both start back for summer session on Tuesday the 5th.  I'm curious to see how Blake does.  She has been REALLY attached to me lately.  And I'm not sure that I will know what to do with a few hours to myself!!!

Summer is here!

playdates, pool time and ice cream.  What more could you ask for?!?!

Dominican Republic

Kyle and I had a getaway to the Dominican Republic a couple of weeks ago.  We spent 6 days and 5 nights at Secrets Resort.  It was much needed as we haven't had much adult time alone since the kiddos came along.  I hadn't been anywhere since we got married!  It was stressful on me, preparing to go and leave the kiddos, but it wasn't as bad as I had expected.  All the grandparents took turns with each.

It was SO hot and humid there.  Way more than I expected.  Overall it was a good experience.  There weren't many people at the resort at all, which was nice.  However, the beach wasn't near as pretty as Mexico. There was lots of seaweed! 

We didn't take many pictures and we never left our resort, ha!

Blakely-9 months

These were the best I could get this time.  She tried so hard to rip the sticker off of her onesie!  

She is almost on the move!  I mean any day now she will be crawling and she has started pulling up some too!

Not sure if I'm ready for all of that!

I cannot believe you are 9 months old!  That means only 3 months until your birthday!  Time please slow down!!!

We went to your Dr check up today.  You haven't grown much in the last 3 months. 

W: 14.15lbs (1.98%)

H: 25.75" (5%)

Dr Laura isn't worried yet as you are still following a curve. You are just at the bottom.  I have to start adding a scoop of formula for each bottle and increase your solids and start table food.  We tried green peas last week and I'm not sure if it was the peas but you vomitted afterwards.  You always gag when i give you green veggies anyway.  

You are saying mama and bubba all the time!  You are starting to mimic actions like smacking your lips, waving, etc.  

You sleep through the night most of the time 7pm-6-7am.  The last few nights you have woke up screaming. You may be teething.  You dont' have any yet!

We moved you up to size 3 diapers and you wear mostly 9 month clothes.  You can still fit in some of your 6 month stuff too.  Your feet are still too small for shoes!  

You are so happy all of the time.  Your eyes light up every time you smile and we get stopped by strangers everywhere we go because of your beauty and personality!  

You have become even more attached to me lately I wasn't sure that was possible! You absolutely adore your brother and I'm sure you can't wait to chase him around everywhere.  

You are my sunshine! I love you more than you will ever know! xoxo
